Nostril Piercing After Care:

*Make sure your hands are washed before you touch your new piercing.
*Make sure that all dried discharge is soft (by soaking with warm water on clean cotton balls) & completely wipe off ring before you rotate the ring. Wash your nostril piercing 2-3 times a day using a mild anti-bacterial soap. Avoid Swimming in Lakes for the initial healing process.
*Also make sure to rinse all of the soap out of the piercing. Use a Q-tip to clean the inside of your nostril.
*DO NOT use hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol!! DO NOT use ointments during the healing process!! You can use Bactine or Ear Care.
*If you feel you have an infection you can use Epsom Salt in your hot water soak for 3 days at a time..it has a “drying out” effect which can harm your piercing after prolonged use.
*Your piercing should be healed in about 4 - 6 weeks. Once your piercing is healed you can take the ring out to clean or change jewelry but the hole will close quickly if left out for any length of time.
